#BeMorePeacock with Rain and Peacock

“Rain. A dancing Peacock. Pure rapture. An exultant joy that knows no bounds.” This beautiful bird is Rain and Peacock’s mascot for a reason.

“All you need is a discerning eye on the way to feeling a little more Peacock.” (read #bemorepeacock) And that is exactly how you’ll feel when you feast your eyes on Rain and Peacock’s array of handpicked home décor designs from around the world.

Meet the faces behind the brand, the soul-duo- Surbhi and Dhruv Kapoor, a young couple based in New Delhi, India. Surbhi says, “Rain and Peacock is fueled by our love of design, making a home a sanctuary and wanting to share our discoveries with anyone who is intrigued by unique and special goods for their homes. We are two very unique peas in a pod. Dhruv has a high regard for all things practical and functional, and I am not so practical and tend to get carried away with the creative side of things. Together we perfectly complement each other. A bit like Rain and Peacock.”

Tête-à-tête with Surbhi:

>>What goes behind all the beautiful products on your website?

We are a treasure trove of oddities and curiosities that help you create beautiful interiors with the things you love.

Think of us as your design hunters, we do the work for you and we prescribe the products. We search the globe for the iconic, the well-known and the never seen before pieces to make your home the best it can be.

From Sydney to New York, Shanghai to Barcelona, Rain and Peacock is inspired by the world’s unique cultures. With each collection, we share a global design story, retold by you- through the way you live and bring its pattern, colour and texture into your home.

>>How can we add ‘Rain Love’ to our homes?

i) Add Seasonal Elements – This is the easiest way to show our love of the season in our home! Bring out those colorful umbrellas and place them as wall décor or just beautifully placed next to the wall- bring out elements of Rain and be more Peacock.

ii) Use Seasonal Cushions – Peacocks, during the rains, bring out the colorful, happy cushions out and feel the excitement of rains. Nestling seasonal pillows into your decor gives your furniture a continuing new and fresh look.

iii) Use Seasonal Textures – Bring out the sheer in the Rains!!! It’s a charming way to extend the outdoors to the indoors and then strut.

iv) Flower Mania – Add everything beautiful and full of greens, plums, pinks and deep red florals to your décor during the beautiful Rains. You will feel a lot more Peacock!

v) Do what you Love – Peacocks, DO WHAT YOU LOVE!!! If you love lots of knickknacks then… JUST DO IT! It’s your home and it should reflect YOU!
