Mumbai

1) Tungareshwar and Chinchoti Waterfalls, Vasai 10672291_889734811051000_6738900505262484363_n> USP: There are two routes to get to the waterfall—one, an easy muddy road passing the Tungareshwar Wildlife Sanctuary that leads to the Shiva temple, and the other, a more adventurous road passing through the beautiful jungle and streams of water while you get to the waterfall. The forest is lush and perfect for adventure lovers.

3) Lohagadh Fort, Lohagad Trek Road Lohagad1>USP: This fort is located in the heart of the splendid state of Maharashtra! Conquering this well-kept fort is a must. The route to the fort is lush and windy, and presents a glimpse of rare flora. The view from the top of the fort is marvellous, so if you’re a nature lover you will instantly fall in love with this place.

Avid trekkers suggest tasting the local Maharashtrian food like jhunka-bhakar, misal-pav, Kanda bhaji, gavran chicken served at the foothill and at the fort.

>USP: This place is in the midst of enormous rocks formed by volcanoes, tiny caves, and pretty streams. Crawling inside a cave to see those beautiful rocks and taking in the breathtaking view is an adrenaline rush in itself. Be a caveman for a day, and we assure you, you wouldn’t want to come back!

7) Sultanpur National Park, Gurgoan trip adivisor>USP: This beauty lies far away from all the hustle-bustle and concrete structures of the capital city.
